    Electives

Friday afternoons at Polaris are something special!

Students have the opportunity to choose two different one-hour elective classes each quarter. It’s a great chance for students to get a taste of new subjects, art, sports, languages, etc.  Each quarter and year is unique as the elective classes are taught not only by the teachers but also by volunteers and parents who step forward to share their skills.

Without exception, every student at Polaris looks forward to Friday afternoon electives.  This unique program serves to invigorate / motivate students while also expanding their educational experience beyond the standard classroom topics.

Learn more by visiting the current elective schedule.
