    Polaris Application Deadline Approaching Fast

Parents, please help us spread the word that families should nominate their children for the Highly Gifted and Advanced Kindergarten programs. The deadlines are approaching very quickly. The deadline for HGT applications is October 1. The deadline for Advanced Kindergarten applications is October 22.

If you know a child who would benefit from a Polaris education, please let their parents know about the DPS deadline to apply for gifted testing. This year’s deadline is just around the corner! As you know, we are Denver Public Schools’ only fully dedicated magnet program serving highly gifted and high-achieving students. In our joyful classrooms, we inspire our students to reach their maximum potential as young learners. We provide an innovative, culturally rich learning environment using integrated curriculum that offers rigorous challenges, while nurturing curiosity, skill development and knowledge. Please help us spread the word about our distinguished educational environment and feel free to actively encourage interested families to apply. It’s critical that you spread the news now. Click here for the HGT application in English and here for the Spanish version.

Students must apply to the Gifted and Talented Department for consideration, and testing is provided free of charge. Parents, teachers or anyone who knows the student may nominate him/her, and students may self-nominate.
