We would like to explain the Birthday Book program to benefit our library!

Each of our students will celebrate a birthday during the year, and we would like to suggest a unique way of honoring this important event while helping the library collection stay current with the latest available titles.

The Birthday Book Program makes it possible for you to choose a book from that month's list to donate to our school library collection in honor of your child. A bookplate with your child's name would be placed in the book, he/she would be the first to check it out, and it would become part of the permanent collection to be enjoyed for years to come.

If you select a book from the wish list, we can purchase it for you. If you find a title that appeals to you and your child, we invite you to fill in the Birthday Book Request Form and return it with your check to the library or office. (Please make checks out to the school.)

This is totally an optional program to aid the library and expand thecollection. It is our hope that these gifts will provide books that enrich each child's education and nourish a lifetime love of reading! Thank you for your interest in the Birthday Book program.
