    Electives

Each quarter the elective classes are taught by the teachers as wells as by volunteers and parents who step forward to share their skills. Students will sign up for electives classes at school with their classroom teachers. One of the goals of the elective program is to let students choose their own classes based on their interests and passions. Each child will be given the opportunity to select a 1st, 2nd & 3rd choice for each of its two classes. The elective assignment team does their best to try to give children their first choice, but when a class is filled, they go to their 2nd or 3rd choice.

Electives are often the children’s favorite time of the week. You are welcome to teach and/or help with an elective any time!
