WELCOME

Located on the northeast edge of downtown Denver, at 410 Park Avenue West, Ebert Elementary is the home of the Polaris Program, Northeast Denver's exciting Highly Gifted Program, serving grades K-5. The Polaris Program at Ebert is the first time a program dedicated to meeting the needs of highly gifted and high achieving students has operated in an independent site in the Denver Public Schools, and is the only such school. Here's how to apply.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Polaris at Ebert supports highly gifted and high achieving students in reaching their maximum potential as young learners.  Collaboration of students, parents and teachers assures an innovative, culturally rich learning environment where differences are supported and celebrated.  Engaging integrated curricula offers rigorous challenges that nurture curiosity, skill development, knowledge and the courage needed to imagine and achieve.  Personal, academic and artistic excellence is an everyday standard of our school.  Learning experientially and enthusiastically, Polaris students become thoughtful, confident and responsible citizens of our world.

HOT LUNCH PAYMENT

DPS is offering a new on-line option for purchasing hot lunch. It seems simple to use and looks more reliable than the "check in the backpack" method. To participate or find out more go to www.mylunchmoney.com.
